Sweet game

A cool innovative control system, which is exactly what I like to see.
Quite fun as well.

One thing: you were very thoughtful by putting in a volume control in the game, I love to see that so i can listen to my own music while playing, however, it isn't working for me, the bar isn't sliding. Hope you can fix it :)

Thanks, the control system was inspired by some Wario Ware game or something so we can't take all credit for that, but everything else is our ideas :)

I have no idea why the slider wouldn't work.. If you're using a Mac that might be the problem, but you can always press the 'M' button instead to mute all.

[Toast of War]

Great game!

Very reminiscent of Alien Hominid, not only in art style but in gameplay as well.
But some stuff like the popping out of toasters, that's a great idea, and was really cool.

One thing I thought was weird was when I was fighting the butter stick boss occasionally, there would be metal platforms over the trenches, and sometimes there would not be. It was annoying because at the end the platforms wouldn't disapear again so I kept getting flattened by the boss and I had no safety. Is there something I'm missing?

Anyway, besides that, fun intuitive game play, fun game.

Hey thanks!

Basically the platforms stay there once the boss gets angry just to make it a bit harder. Again, sprinting (shift) really helps dodge the boss's attack, so go ahead and try that!

Great Game!

I'm very disapointed with the score this game has.

It's totally fun, unique, and I tried to get a high score for like 15 minutes.
I had alot of fun playing this game, please do make a sequel, ignore the score, this should be getting in the daily 5.

[Blockhead: The Game]

I have to agree with the people criticizing...

Swain, you're awesome, this game is original and could be really awesome, but there are too many glitches.

At one point, my audio just cut out, i could see blockhead and his conscience talking, but there was no sound.

Also, his attention span bar would be full, but he wouldn't do anything I asked him.

Could be an amazing game swain, fix it please.

Those are the same bug, actually; it happens when the game cuts to a different scene while Blockhead, the Conscience, or NPCs are speaking. From then on their mouths will flap and they will produce no audio. If BH is doing it, he will listen to no commands either.

For now, just restart the game :) This bug is annoying but not disruptive, as it should never happen in a level in progress.

Overall it was pretty average, worthy of a submission.

But I really liked that drawing pad. That was cool

Someone should make a game where the viewer can draw like a bunch of frames,and then play them. It would be like animating :D
